A frankfurter, commonly referred to as a ´´Wiener´´ in the US, skewered on a wooden stick, or in combination with cheese (gouda, mozarella or cheese), rolled in a thick sweet dough, covered with condiments of your choice (potato, maise or sweet potato), deep fried to a perfect crispy golden brown, sprinkled with sugar.
